Hello,

A bit of feedback: I was rejected the first time. I think my message was too short and too vague. The second time I took the time to write it properly and it went through.

My tips:
- Be honest. Tell your story without exaggerating.
- Clearly say why you need help.
- Put a realistic amount, not something crazy.
- Proofread yourself. Mistakes don't look serious.
- Stay respectful, there are real people on the other end.

Good luck to everyone!

I'd add: explain what you plan to do with the help. I said it was to pay off a loan and pay for my son's studies. I think that plays a part.

Clearly, sincerity is the key. I didn't write a novel, I just told the truth about my situation and that was enough.

My message was 10 lines long. Short but personal. Accepted on the first try. It just has to be authentic.
